Lifting

FAQ: Frequently asked questions

Facial Lifting: It is a surgical technique used to stretch skin and to re-posit muscles and tissues. Scars are hidden within the scalp and are almost invisible.

It can be practised in men as well as in women. It does not affect temples. The procedure takes about two hours plus four hours rest. In general, it only produces a small edema (inflammatory liquid) and ecchymosis during approximately five days. Stitches are removed after 5 to 10 days. Patients can go back to work soon. The procedure is done under local anesthesia with sedation.

It may include blepharoplasty (eyelids surgery), rhynoplasty (nose surgery) or nasal tip, since they all together constitute facial rejuvenation surgery. It can also include mentoplasty and neck lifting.
