Mastopexy

FAQ: Frequently asked questions

Mastopexy (breast lift surgery): It is the procedure used when breasts sag due to breastfeeding, weight loss or ageing, with minimal scars, either periaerolar, scars or vertical scars, or inverted-T scars, depending on the ptosis grade.

Very frequently, this procedure is combined with the implant of mammary prosthesis.

Depending of the ptosis grade, it takes about 1 hour and a half and 2 hours. It uses local anesthesia plus neuroleptoanalgesia. It takes 10-15 days’ recovery.
